Plain language first, clauses under it. If the two ever disagree, tell the desk — the summary is meant to be true.
Terms of use
What we do, what we do not do, and what each side owes the other.
Updated 1 August 2026 · applies to transactions requested after that date
We are an over-the-counter desk, not a bank, a broker or a custodian. We quote a price, hold it while you confirm, and settle. We hold no balances for you, we can decline any transaction without giving a reason, and a refusal is never an accusation.
Who we are
anychange.io operates an over-the-counter desk that exchanges value between cash, bank rails and cryptocurrency. We deal on our own account: when you accept a quote, you are trading with the desk, not with another user through us.
We are not a bank, a payment institution, an investment firm or a custodian. We do not hold balances, we do not lend, we do not manage anything on your behalf, and nothing we publish is financial advice.
Who may use the desk
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction, dealing with funds you own or are lawfully authorised to move, and not acting for a person or entity subject to sanctions we are bound to observe.
You do not need to prove any of this with a document. You are asserting it by transacting, and the assertion is yours.
How a transaction works
- You request a quote. A published rate is indicative and moves continuously; it becomes a price only when you lock it. Once locked, it holds for the period attached to your tier and it binds both sides for that period — we will not requote you upward inside a lock, and you cannot hold us to it afterwards.
- If a lock expires we requote at the rate then current. Nothing is charged for an expired lock and you are free to walk away.
- You then send funds, we confirm receipt, and settlement follows the route you chose: to an address, to an account, or in cash to a person holding your collection code.
Your obligations
- Destination details are yours to get right. An address or account number you supply is used as given; a transfer sent to a wrong destination you specified cannot be recovered by us.
- At a cash handover, present your collection code. Do not photograph, record or attempt to identify the agent — they are extended the same discretion you are.
- Do not fund a transaction on behalf of an undisclosed third party. The desk prices risk on the assumption that the funds are yours.
Fees
Our charge is a percentage of the gross plus a fixed component, both shown in full before you commit, in the currency you will actually receive. There is no spread hidden inside the rate and no charge that appears afterwards.
Network fees for on-chain settlement and any correspondent charges on a wire are separate costs imposed by third parties. Where we can estimate them we show them.
Refusal, limits and cancellation
- We may decline a request, cap an amount, require notice, or stop dealing with a handle at any time and without giving a reason. This is a commercial decision, not a finding about you.
- If funds do not reach us within 24 hours of a request, it cancels itself. Nothing has moved and nothing is charged. If you sent late, contact the desk with the request identifier and we will try to match it.
- Once we have confirmed receipt of your funds, a request can no longer be cancelled unilaterally — the position is already hedged.
Where our responsibility ends
- We are responsible for settling what we agreed to settle at the rate we locked. Where a handover fails through us or through an agent, you are made whole by the desk, as set out in the Dispute policy.
- We are not responsible for losses arising from details you supplied incorrectly, from a wallet or account you no longer control, from your own device or messenger being compromised, or from a mirror or address you obtained somewhere other than here.
- Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Prohibited use
Do not use the desk to move the proceeds of crime, to fund or facilitate violence, to evade sanctions, or to launder value through a chain of handles. We will refuse, and where we are legally obliged to act we will.
Attempting to split a single economic transaction across handles or days to sit under a band is itself a reason for us to decline.
Changes and contact
We may change these terms. A change applies to transactions requested after it is published; anything already locked is governed by the terms in force when you locked it.
